MY STORY
I am a published and award-winning photographer based in Cornwall, England and have spent the last 22 years in the UK Military as a Survival Specialist. With a recent move in July of this year I am currently based in Canada for the next 4 years, where my photography journey will take me all over the Great White North exploring all the amazing nature this country has to offer.
I like to adapt my skills as a pathfinder to allow me to track, stalk and photograph wildlife in all environments. I have worked within various media channels & campaigns with wildlife organisations including; the BBC Wildlife Magazine, BBC SpringWatch, BBC Countryfile and The Wildlife Trusts. I hope through my experience and pictures I can highlight all the great benefits the natural world has to offer, in terms of its healing properties with mental & physical health and help you reconnect with Nature. I only focus on capturing photos of nature in their natural environment, and my photographs have been published and shared all around the world. My belief is the welfare of the subject in Wildlife photography is paramount.
I am also a qualified member of the Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) and a UK & Canada Ambassador for Nature First the Alliance for Nature Photography, f-stop, Fotopro and Tragopan photography gear . I am also a photography guide for Eco Terra Adventures a UK based travel company where I travel around the world taking people on some amazing adventures. I’ve been finalist in the British Photography Awards (BPA), British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA), Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPOTY), Bird Photographer of the Year (BPOTY) and Nature TTL’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and the Scottish Nature Photography Awards (SNPA). I recently I won the League Against Cruel Sports Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
