BIRD WATCHING TOUR ON THE LIZARD - Coming Autumn 2026
Join me on a morning walk along the South West Cornish Coast Path, where I introduce you to our local wildlife with its flower-rich meadows, rolling heaths, windswept cliffs, marine life above and below the waves, woods, freshwater ponds and streams…put them together and all these different habitats are why The Lizard is so special for wildlife. Known especially for its unique and abundant flora and wide landscapes, you will also find birds, mammals, invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians and, of course, a multitude of marine life.
We will spend our time from Mullion to the Lizard finding species such as the formidable Peregrine Falcon, Kestrel, Common Buzzard, Chough to the smaller species such as the Wheatear, Stonechat, Dartford Warbler and many more.
We meet either at the National Trust Car Park on the Lizard or Mullion dependant on the day or your personal preference of location, we will start 0815hrs and will be back at about 1215hrs. This walk is classed as moderate, with some inclines and a few style and steps.
